Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center
Working together since 2022
Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center treats mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions and OCD at locations across the country. We build and maintain their Drupal site, which runs on a single Drupal install that also serves the organization's other brands on their own domains, each with its own identity and content.
- Multi-step intake forms that create and manage contacts in both Salesforce and HubSpot
- Custom application that pulls events from Fonteva, builds registration forms, and signs attendees up in Salesforce
- Course registration that signs someone up for a whole series of sessions at once
- We act as the web team for around twenty content editors across three web properties
- One Drupal install serving multiple domains, with domain-specific theming, content, admin and role management
- Moved the organization's sites off Acquia to a managed VPS, cutting hosting costs by 80%
About this project
The challenge
Pathlight treats mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions and OCD at locations across the country, and runs a continuous schedule of weekly support groups and events alongside clinical admissions. That is two quite different jobs on one site: moving someone who needs treatment into an intake process, and letting people find and register for a recurring program that may run for weeks. The organization also operates several brands, each needing its own identity and content, which could easily have become several separate sites to build, update and pay for.
What we built
One Drupal install serves multiple domains, with domain-specific theming, content, admin and role management, so each brand reads as itself while there is still only one codebase to maintain and update. Multi-step intake forms create and manage contacts in both Salesforce and HubSpot. For events we built a custom application that pulls the schedule from Fonteva, generates registration forms from it, and signs attendees up in Salesforce. Course registration goes further than booking a single date: registering once enrolls a person in the next set number of sessions in a series, so someone joining a weekly support group is signed up for the whole run without coming back to the site every week. ACUTE runs on its own install from the same shared module layer, so improvements made here are available there too.
The result
Moving the organization's sites, ACUTE included, off Acquia onto a managed VPS at Liquid Web cut its hosting fees by 80%, with the Drupal build and its integrations carried across unchanged. We have also rebuilt the parts of the registration system that were causing trouble before we took it on, so signing up for a group or a course now works the way people expect it to. The site remains in continuous development and support with us, and running several brands from one install means a fix or a new feature is built once and appears everywhere it is needed. We also work as the organization's web team, without a single account contact in the middle: a content group of around twenty editors, across three web properties, comes to us directly with requests, and we take in, prioritize and run that work ourselves. It is an unusual arrangement for an agency, and it means an editor with a change to make reaches the people who will make it.

We've been with Rehab Creative for three years now and always receive quick responses from their team, even out of normal working hours. Tasks are completed in days as opposed to weeks or more. They have been an amazing partner, and we've been incredibly pleased with their support for both of our Drupal sites, connecting applications, and understanding of all things web related.
