Search Visibility & SEO

Get found by search engines, and recommended by the AI assistants people now ask first.

Two things decide whether anyone finds you now: whether search engines rank you, and whether an AI assistant names you when someone asks. We work on both, on the technical foundations underneath them, and on the analytics that tell you whether any of it moved.

Search and analytics work we do

Ranking well and being recommended by an AI assistant depend on the same things: whether a machine can reach your pages, parse them, and trust what it finds. A search engine turns that into a position in a list. An assistant turns it into whether your name appears in the answer at all. Everything we build for you, both code and design, is yours. You paid for it, you own it.

We also do this on our own site, which is the only honest basis for recommending it: structured data throughout, an explicit robots.txt naming the AI crawlers, a generated llms.txt, and consistent profiles wherever we appear.

AI Search & Visibility

People increasingly ask an assistant rather than typing into a search box, and the answer is assembled from far more than your homepage. We make your site readable to those tools, mark your services, people and locations up as structured data, and work on the wider footprint they draw from: directory and review listings, social and news profiles, and the consistency of your details across all of it.

Technical & Organic SEO

The foundations that still decide whether anything else works. Technical audits covering site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and crawlability, then the content side: keyword research into what your audience actually searches for, and a structure that answers it.

Analytics & Experience

Knowing whether any of it worked. Google Analytics configured around the actions that matter to you rather than pageview vanity metrics, conversion tracking wired through, dashboards your team can read, and testing to work out why people drop out where they do.

Ongoing Support

Search is not a project you finish. Algorithms shift, assistants change what they weigh, competitors publish, and a site drifts out of date on its own. We keep testing, keep the structured data current, and keep reporting on what actually changed. We offer retainer and as-needed plans, and we support sites whether or not we built them. Every plan includes dedicated hours beyond the update work, so you can spend them on whatever matters most that month.

  • Structured data and schema maintenance
  • AI crawler access and llms.txt upkeep
  • Technical SEO audits and fixes
  • Core Web Vitals and performance monitoring
  • Business profile and listing consistency
  • Analytics, goals and conversion tracking
  • Reporting your team can act on
  • Content and keyword recommendations
Talk about a support plan

Most of this work is unglamorous and specific. Clean markup, pages that load quickly, questions answered directly, information that matches everywhere it appears, and measurement honest enough to tell you when something did not work.

Being found is not being recommended

Ten blue links let a searcher pick. An assistant usually names one or two. Getting into that answer depends on whether your information is published, machine-readable, and consistent wherever else the model looks, which is a different job from ranking.

The technical foundations still decide it

Both AI tools and search engines have to reach your pages, parse them, and trust the structure. Slow, broken or unreadable markup undoes the content work before anyone sees it, so that is where we start.

We measure what actually changed

Rankings move for reasons nobody controls. We configure analytics around inquiries, bookings and signups, segment AI referral traffic separately, and report on things you could act on rather than a graph that only goes up.

Nothing that ages badly

No keyword stuffing, no bought links, no pages written for a crawler that read like nonsense to a person. Everything we do is meant to still be working for you in years to come, which is also what the models reward.

Questions we get asked

What is AI search visibility, and why does it matter now?

A growing share of people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or an AI overview instead of scrolling results. Those tools do not return a list, they return an answer naming one or two organizations. AI search visibility is the work of making sure your information is reachable, machine-readable and consistent enough that you are the one named.

How is this different from traditional SEO?

It overlaps more than it differs. Both need a site that can be crawled, parsed and trusted. AI visibility adds structured data describing what you actually do, explicit crawler access, content written to answer questions directly, and a consistent footprint across the directories and profiles those models draw on. We do both, because ignoring either leaves traffic on the table.

What do you do away from our own website?

A model's answer is assembled from many sources. We work on business profiles and directory listings, review platforms, social and news profiles, and above all the consistency of your name, locations, services and contact details across them. Conflicting information is one of the most common reasons an assistant describes an organization wrongly.

Can you track traffic coming from ChatGPT and other AI tools?

Yes. Referrals from AI assistants arrive like any other referral traffic, but they are not separated out by default. We configure analytics to segment them so you can see what those visits actually do, rather than having them disappear into a general referral bucket.

Do you do technical SEO audits?

Yes. Site speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, crawlability and indexation, redirects and canonical URLs, structured data, and internal linking. You get findings ordered by impact and an estimate for fixing them, whether we do the work or your own team does.

What do you set up in analytics?

Google Analytics configured around the actions that matter to your business rather than raw pageviews: conversion and goal tracking, custom dashboards your team can read without help, segments for meaningful audiences including AI referrals, and reporting that recommends something specific instead of just describing the numbers.

Can you help with user experience and conversion, not just traffic?

Yes, and traffic without conversion is an expensive hobby. We run A/B testing and user research to find where people drop out, then fix it. Better experience also tends to improve rankings, because the signals search engines use for quality and the things that make a site usable are largely the same.

Have you done this on your own site?

Yes, which is the only reason we are comfortable recommending it. This site publishes structured data for the organization, its services, projects and FAQs, an explicit robots.txt naming the AI crawlers, a generated llms.txt summarizing the site in plain text, and consistent profile links across the platforms we appear on.

How do you work with our team?

However suits you. We work in whatever your team already uses, whether that is Slack, Teams, email, or a project tool like Monday, Wrike, Teamwork or Asana. For some clients we are effectively the web team: their editors and staff come to us directly with requests rather than routing everything through one point of contact, and we take in, prioritize and run that work ourselves. For others a single contact is simpler. Either way the developer doing your work is the one managing it, so there is no account layer between you and the person writing your code, and none to pay for. We fit how you already work rather than asking you to adopt our process.

Ready for a fresh start?

Whether you need a new website, ongoing support, a custom application, better performance, or just another perspective, our team is ready to help. We usually respond the same day.
