Healthcare
Websites, provider search, and patient intake for hospitals, health systems, and treatment centers.
We build the parts of a healthcare site that actually carry weight: finding the right provider, booking an appointment, and getting a patient through intake. On Drupal, WordPress, or a modern framework, whichever genuinely fits, integrated with the systems your organization already runs. We're based in Denver and work with providers across the U.S.
Healthcare work we do
Someone looking for a specialist, booking an appointment, or starting an intake form is usually not browsing. We build the parts that have to work, and connect them to the systems you already run. Everything we build for you, both code and design, is yours. You paid for it, you own it.
We work with CommonSpirit Health, one of Colorado's largest providers, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders at Denver Health, and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, which runs locations across the country.
Find Care & Scheduling
The thing patients actually came to do. Distance-based provider and location search built on the Apache Solr search engine and React inside the site, provider profiles that stay current, and online scheduling wired through the APIs your health system already runs.
- Provider & Location Search
- Online Scheduling
- Service Line Pages
Intake, Referrals & Integrations
Multi-step intake and admissions forms that create and manage records directly in Salesforce or HubSpot, referral and professional signup flows for clinicians sending patients in, and event registration that writes attendees back into your CRM.
- Patient Intake Forms
- Clinician Referrals
- Salesforce & HubSpot
- HIPAA Compliance
AI Search & Visibility
Patients increasingly ask an assistant who treats a condition near them rather than starting in a search box, and what those tools say about you is assembled from far more than your homepage. We make your site readable to them, mark up services, specialties, providers and locations as structured data, and work on the wider footprint they draw from: provider directories, insurance and referral listings, review platforms, and the consistency of your locations, hours and service names across all of it.
- Structured Service & Provider Data
- AI Crawler Access
- Provider & Directory Listings
- Consistent Location Information
- Technical SEO & Performance
Maintenance & Support
Launch is the start of a healthcare site's life, not the end of it. Provider data drifts, intake integrations quietly stop writing to your CRM, and security advisories keep arriving. All of it needs someone paying attention. We offer retainer and as-needed plans, and we support sites whether or not we built them. Every plan includes dedicated hours beyond the update work, so you can spend them on whatever matters most that month.
- Core, module and plugin security updates
- Accessibility audits and WCAG remediation
- Provider and location data sync monitoring
- Intake form and CRM integration monitoring
- Performance tuning and Core Web Vitals
- Automated backups and tested recovery
- Structured data and AI crawler checks
- Feature development across brands and service lines
Why healthcare teams work with us
Healthcare sites answer urgent questions under constraints most commercial work does not carry: security review, systems of record that cannot be worked around, accessibility that genuinely matters, and patients who need an answer now rather than after a redesign.
“Rehab Creative is a reliable partner for all of our Drupal development needs including all work from general product maintenance to custom product design and development.”
We work with what you already run
We do a great deal of work in Drupal and WordPress, and build on modern frameworks where those fit better. If you already have a platform, we will work in it rather than argue for a rebuild. If you are choosing, we will tell you honestly which one suits the requirement and why.
Accessibility is not optional
Patients using a healthcare site are often unwell, anxious, or assisting someone else. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA from the start, and audit and remediate existing sites that fall short.
Found when patients search for care
People increasingly ask an assistant who treats a condition near them before they ever open a website. Being the answer means your services, specialties, locations, hours and provider details are published, marked up so AI and search engines can read them, and consistent across directories and listings.
We work alongside your IT and compliance teams
Healthcare projects come with security review, existing systems of record, and data that has to be handled carefully. We build to HIPAA requirements, help review how patient data moves through a site, and have built intake flows writing into Salesforce and integrations with health system APIs, working to the requirements your own teams set.

Which healthcare organizations have you worked with?
Our healthcare work includes CommonSpirit Health, one of Colorado's largest providers, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders at Denver Health, and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, which operates locations across the country.
Can you build provider and location search?
Yes. For CommonSpirit Health we built a custom distance-based provider and location search using the Apache Solr search engine and React integrated into Drupal, covering thousands of providers and medical locations, so patients can find the right clinician near them rather than scrolling a static directory.
Can you integrate with Salesforce, HubSpot or our scheduling system?
Yes, and we have done all three. ACUTE's multi-step intake and admissions forms create and manage patient records in Salesforce. Pathlight's intake forms write into both Salesforce and HubSpot, and we built a custom application that pulls events from Fonteva and registers attendees back into Salesforce. For CommonSpirit we wired online provider scheduling through their own Apigee APIs.
How do you handle patient data and privacy?
Carefully, and within the requirements your organization sets. We build to HIPAA requirements, and we can review how patient data moves through your site, where it is stored, and who can reach it, so the implementation holds up to your own security and compliance process. We have built intake flows that pass patient information into systems of record such as Salesforce, and we work alongside your IT, security and compliance teams on the controls and agreements each project needs.
Do you meet accessibility requirements for healthcare sites?
Yes. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA, and we take on audits and remediation for existing sites that do not currently meet it. Accessibility matters more here than almost anywhere else, because people using a healthcare site are often unwell or acting on someone else's behalf.
Can you run multiple brands or locations from one platform?
Yes. Pathlight runs on a single install serving multiple domains, each with its own theming, content, admin experience and role management. ACUTE runs on its own install built from the same shared codebase, with its own theme and content model.
How do you help patients find us through AI search?
Patients now ask ChatGPT and similar tools who treats a condition near them. We make sure those tools can reach your site, mark up services, specialties, locations and providers as structured data so they are machine-readable, and work on the wider footprint those answers draw from, including directory and review listings and the consistency of your locations and service names across them.
Can you support a site your team did not build?
Yes. We review the existing codebase, hosting and configuration first, then take over updates, security patching, accessibility fixes and ongoing development without insisting on a rebuild.
How do you work with our team?
However suits you. We work in whatever your team already uses, whether that is Slack, Teams, email, or a project tool like Monday, Wrike, Teamwork or Asana. For some clients we are effectively the web team: their editors and staff come to us directly with requests rather than routing everything through one point of contact, and we take in, prioritize and run that work ourselves. For others a single contact is simpler. Either way the developer doing your work is the one managing it, so there is no account layer between you and the person writing your code, and none to pay for. We fit how you already work rather than asking you to adopt our process.
